Very disappointed the women taking orders were on their cell phones most of the time and the bbq was okay the best things we had were sausage and pulled pork the brisket was very tough and hard to chew the ribs had a gritty dry rub on them that ruined the flavor will not be going back.

This place has the best wings in existence. They are smoked, dry rubbed & then sauced with your choice of sauces. The wings are fairly large also. We have been here about 12 times & always love it. We have never had a problem. We also take out a lot also.

It was just ok. I think the best part was the onion rings, coleslaw and mac & cheese. The brisket was very bland no flavor whatsoever. You're not missing a thing or maybe it was an off day and a different chef. Don't know but I won't be back.

We tried a sample of pulled pork at The Saturday Green Market and it was so good that within an hour we were having lunch at Spanx! Both the pilled chicken and pulled pork are fantastic. Their sides are inspired! The potato salad is very different, whipped, almost like a tangy mashed potato salad, delicious! The atmosphere is laid back, definitely family friendly. There are a few arcade games located in the front area for kids to play while parents dine. A great find in Pompano! PompaYes!

Great food. The smoked wings are excellent. The beer prices are great. Carissa is an excellent server and enjoys a good "ribbing". I highly recommend it and go Steelers!

Glad we decided to check this place out again. Last time I was here it was counter food with rude staff and semi good bbq. Stopped in for lunch and we're seated at a table and ordered some down home sweet tea and corn fritters soaked in honey, can we say delish!!! The smell of bbq and decor makes you feel like your deep in the south. If you haven't been since the new ownership..... give them a second chance. You will be pleased!!!

BBQ brisket cooked and cut. NOT marinated or grilled in flavor. It was dry and average at best. Chicken.....shredded in a pile....you put on bbq sauce.......Poor. Mac n Cheese excellent. Price i felt was high for the meal we had. Killer wings though Please don't review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees.

We love this place! Their smoked wings are must! They are tender and have great flavor! Order them as they are and add the sauce as you wish; the wings are just as tasty without any sauce. Ribs, pulled pork, and chicken are great! Be sure to try the macaroni and cheese while you're there; you'll love it! An added bonus is the affordable beer selection: domestic and import are both reasonably priced! If you're a Steeler's Fan, you can wash down your BBQ with a cold I.C Light! Pittsburgh fans will enjoy this place and its subtle, but not tacky, nod to The Black and Gold! Spanx the Hog is one of our favorite restaurants to visit in Pompano Beach. We're here every other week.

If you want to eat on a southern porch but don't have a porch or live in the south, perhaps the interior of Spanx will do. Don't be fooled by the low # of reviews here on yelp. I fancy myself a wing connoisseur and the spicy Bbq were well above the standard fare. They have poker nights (in fact there was a table playing at closing Friday night). The ribs were pretty good but definitely can't match the wings for a recommended dish. Fries were seasoned well but not as crisp as I like. If not for a tucked away location I think this place would be more popular.
